Lexington Youth Lacrosse is dedicated to introducing, teaching, and expanding youth lacrosse to the Lexington and nearby communities. It is our belief that the sport of lacrosse provides a unique opportunity to develop individual athleticism, cultivate the teamwork experience, and foster creative problem solving. Through our integrated and age based programs, we provide a fun, competitive, and instructional environment for young lacrosse players that prepares them to play at the high school and collegiate levels, while also teaching them the value of setting and attaining goals.

Fall Ball is a weekly clinic that stresses fundamentals and encourages stick and footwork development in a relaxed, 'pick-up' environment.

There are seven sessions that begin Sunday, September 10th and end Sunday, October 29th. There will be NO session on Sunday, October 10th (Columbus Day weekend).

Players of all skill levels and experience are invited to participate, but the program is designed for first-time players.  We will do our best to keep experienced players engaged, but our primary focus will be introducing lacrosse to new players.

Grades 1-3 will practice from 3:30-5:00pm.

Grades 4-8 will practice from 4:00-5:30pm.

All practices will be at Lincoln Field #3

Program cost is $75.   In addition, an active US Lacrosse membership is required.  The US Lacrosse annual membership fee is $35.

What is Fall Ball Lacrosse?  Similar to our spring session, fall ball is a fun and instructional environment that teaches individual athleticism as well as teamwork.
Why Fall Ball, Isn’t Lacrosse a Spring Sport?  Although we don’t believe in year round play, we do believe that players develop their skills and confidence faster through having multiple discrete sessions with breaks in between. We definitely see players improve during fall ball, which allows them to progress even further during the following spring session.
What if My Child Plays a Traditional Fall Sport? Great! We love it!  We encourage players to play other sports, because being a well-rounded athlete will make them a great lacrosse player.  It’s why we only have one session a week. It’s why we play on days and times that avoid conflicts with soccer, flag football, hockey, and club lacrosse programs.
Is Fall Ball Only For Experienced Players? NO!  At this age group, this is a great opportunity for new players to join and develop their skills prior to the spring.  In fact we are calling on everyone to continue our tradition of “Bring a Friend” to practice. Our program exists to expand the sport to more players, and through more players we can expand the sport. So please, pass this email to a friend, tell your neighborhood about our program, and let other community organizations know about us.
